Mercy Corps began operations in Nepal in 2005, and since then has implemented projects in the sectors of agriculture, food security and nutrition, financial inclusion, youth engagement, and disaster risk reduction/ climate change adaptation. Mercy Corps Nepal works to build the absorptive, adaptive and transformative potential of vulnerable individuals and communities across Nepal. Since 2005, Mercy Corps has responded to disaster emergencies such as earthquakes, floods and landslides and implemented earthquake recovery programs. Cross Cutting areas of focus include youth engagement, gender and social inclusion. 

Scope of Work (SoW)

Mercy Corps Nepal invites applications from qualified firms for the procurement under following two categories: 

  1. Office Stationery Items.
  2. Kitchen Supplies, cleaning and sanitation items.

Mercy Corps intends to issue Master Purchase Agreements (MPA) to one or multiple firms depending on their price, evaluation score, experience, and ability to supply.  These contracts will be for a period of two year, during which Mercy Corps depending on their programmatic needs will share specific requirements for office stationeries, kitchen supplies and sanitation items with the contracted firm/s.

Interested firms should submit their bids and relevant documentations as stated in the tender package to tenders@mercycorps.org  no later than 5 pm, 2nd February 2022.

The Submission email should clearly have mentioned as ” MCN/MAR/2022/01/NEPAL” for Office stationery items tender and ” MCN/MAR/2022/02/NEPAL “for kitchen supplies and sanitation items in the subject line.

The incomplete bids or bids received after the closing date will not be considered. Only shortlisted organizations will be contacted for further process. Canvassing at any stage of the process shall lead to automatic disqualification of the application. Mercy Corps reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason
