Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East is a five-year program funded by the United StatesAgency for International Development (USAID) that supports national governments to reach their control and elimination goals for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) through proven, cost-effective public health interventions. The Act to End NTDs | East program provides critical support to countries in their journey to self-reliance, helping them to create sustainable NTD programming within robust and resilient health systems.

Act to End NTDs |East (2018-2023) is led by RTI International, with a consortium of partners includingThe Carter Center, Fred Hollows Foundation, IMA World Health, Light for the World, Results forDevelopment, Save the Children, Sightsavers, and WI-HER.

RTI is seeking a qualified non-governmental organization to conduct Lymphatic Filariasis Mass Drugs Administration (LF MDA)supportive activitiesin 2 districts (Jhapa, Bara). RTI intends to award two (2) Fixed Amount Award (FAA) for following activities. 

  1.  School Awareness Activities in 2 districts (Jhapa and Bara)(Act-East-RFP-FY22-PO1)and
  2.  Technical support for 2 municipalities of Bara district (Act-East-RFP-FY22-PO2).

Qualification Criteria: Interested organizations should be legally registered in Nepal and have legal status to conduct activities throughout the country. Experience in conducting similar activities and experience working on USAID funded projects are preferred.   

The RFA issuance date is 6 August 2021 and the closing date and time is 27 August 2021, 16:00 hours Nepal time
