U.S. PHARMACOPEIAL CONVENTION (USP) for The Promoting the Quality of Medicines Plus (PQM+) program supported by USAID invites Request for Quotations (RFQ) from interested service providers to provide ISO 17025:2017 Lead Assessor Training Package to National Medicines Laboratory (NML) Personnel as mentioned below:

The USP is a scientific nonprofit organization that sets standards for the identity, strength, quality, and purity of medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements manufactured, distributed, and consumed worldwide. USP’s drug standards are enforceable in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and these standards are used in more than 140 countries.

The PQM+invites Request for Quotation from the eligible and potential service providers to provide ISO 17025:2017 Lead Assessor Training Package to National Medicines Laboratory (NML) Personnel from December 27-31, 2022 at Kathmandu Nepal.

  1. The training provider must be either IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) or ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Corporation) certified/ affiliated/ recognized person or agency.
  2. The trainer must be a certified lead assessor for ISO17025:2017 with training experience.
  3. Training will be 5-day residential training for 10-12 participants within Kathmandu in safe and secure 3-5 star rated venue. 
  4. Training provider shall provide all the training resources including training aids/ materials to all the trainees. The training agency shall provide certificates to all the participants.

Eligible service providers should submit their applications with proof of certificate through email to Nepal.procurement@usp.org. Eligible service provider meeting the above criteria only will obtain complete solicitation (RFQ) documents. The quotations should be submitted by email to Nepal.procurement@usp.org labeled with RFQ reference USP-GHMS-PIF-LAT_NML_1784, on or before 20th November 2022, 5:00 PM, Nepal time. Application received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.

Note: PQM+reserve rights to accept or reject any/all bidding document without necessary reason.
