Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC Nepal is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects.

RDC Nepal is implementing Islamic Relief Nepal funded 2 projects (ECPW and RECOVER) in Gujara, Katahariya, Paroha and Ishnath municipalities of Rautahat district of Nepal. As a part of creating enabling environment and supporting local governments, RDC Nepal has a plan to develop Local Disaster and Climate Resilient Plan (LDCRP) of four mentioned municipalities.

Thus, RDC Nepal calls for EOI from qualified consultants/private firms or a team of experts to accomplish aforementioned tasks. Different consultants will be hired for each projects.

Application Procedure:

  • Consultancy firms or individual are required to submit the following: 
  • Letter of interest 
  • Technical proposal, which includes objectives and method with detailed timeline.
  • CVs of professional personnel proposed for this project
  • Financial proposal indicating consultancy fee and a breakdown of expenses. 
  • The technical and financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes
  • Copy of company registration certificate 
  • Copy of PAN/VAT/  registration  and tax clearance certificate
  • Company Profiles
  • Interested private firms, NGOs, individuals, who meet the above requirements should apply by submitting their Expression of Interest (EoI) with the proposal that clearly outlines the details to accomplish the assignment to pc@rdcnepal.org with subject line EOI for LDCRP. Hard copies of the proposal can be submitted to RDC Nepal Office (address below). The closing date for application is 24 April 2022. The only short-listed applying individual/s, firms will be contacted for further discussion and will be required to present their proposed methodology and previous similar experience.

The proposal must be written in English language. The proposal received after the deadline will not be entertained and considered for further evaluation. 

A proposal that does not meet the requirements will be discarded. Proposals that meet the requirements and offers the best value for money will be considered for further evaluation process. RDC Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
