Japan International Support Program
Japan International Support Program (JISP) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental humanitarian organization which was founded in 2013 in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquakes which had devastated the communities of Tohoku region (North-eastern part of Japan). JISP is currently active in disaster-affected areas of Japan, Bangladesh, and Kenya.
JISP Nepal invites application for the project Community Based Disaster Response and Management in Kathmandu Metropolitan City(KMC) and Saptakoshi Municipality, Saptari for the following positions:
1. Local Chief Coordinator
Duty Station: Kathmandu/Travel may require to Terai region
No. of position: 1
Required Qualification and Experience: Master’s in social science with at least 5 years of experience in social sectors especially working in community mobilization, DRR & PSS is preferable. Fluency in English and Nepali language is required and Maithali is preferable.
2. Local Coordinator
Duty Station: Kathmandu /Travel may require to Terai region
No. of position: 1
Required Qualification and Experience: Master’s in social science with at least 3 years of experience in social sectors especially working in community mobilization, DRR & PSS is preferable. Fluency in English and Nepali language is required and Maithali is preferable.
3. Accountant
Duty Station: Kathmandu /Travel may require to Terai region
No. of position: 1
Required Qualification and Experience: Master’s Degree in management stream (MBS, MBA etc.) with Accounting/Managerial Finance as a major subject or related degree from recognized university with at least 5 years of experience in I/NGOs. Fluency in English and Nepali language is required and Maithali is preferable with advance computer skill and accounting software knowledge.
4. Office Assistant
Duty Station: Kathmandu
No. of position: 1
Required Qualification and Experience: Intermediate (+2 degree), preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/other relevant subject. Literate and experience working in I/NGOs sector with administrative and computer skills.
