Job Description

Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC Nepal is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, RDC Nepal has started implementing Community Resilience/Disaster Support: COVID-19 Recovery in Nepal project in Rautahat district. So, RDC Nepal seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for smooth implementation of project(s).

SN Positions Qualification Key Skills and Knowledge
1 Project Coordinator (1- Nos) Bachelors in Public or in relevant discipline with 3 years of work experience.
  • Good knowledge on COVID-19 and emergencyresponse management.
  • Develop comprehensive operational calendar highlighting key milestones and financial projections
  • Ability to integrate multiple projects and design and disseminate risk communications.
  • Lead in effective governance, child and adult safe organization compliances and are practiced well
  • Have a good technical knowledge and experience on sector, data and information management.
  • Facilitations of trainings, events and meetings.

Job description:

2 Field Officers (2-Nos) Bachelor’s in Public Health or in relevant discipline.
  • Good knowledge on COVID-19 and health emergency response and risk communication.
  • General understanding of government policies, priorities, needs and issues related to health and hygiene.
  • Basic understanding of development approach
  • Good interpersonal skills and maintain good relationship with local government, health facility, health workers and FCHVs
  • Good meeting facilitation and documentation skills
  • Presentation skills in different forum and network.
  • Having two-wheel driving skills and able to travel in project areas.
