Job Description

FHI 360 has been worldng in Nepal since 1993 in the areas of HIVIAIDS, fimily planningireproductive health, nutrition, antimicrobial resistance, environment, capacity buildine, civil society and media strengthening, and governance reform. PHI 3601 work is grotmded in evidence and aligns with and provides support to the Government of Nepal’s development priorities and plans. FBI 360 requests applications from the qualified individuals for working as a short-term consultant for the United States Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)- and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-supported Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Nepal.

  1. Logistics Consultant

The consultant will be responsible for supporting logistic unit of National Center for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC). The period for this assienment is from July to August 2022 with the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in quantification and forecasting of HIV commodities.
  • Support in raainhinhw a stock database and HE’ commodity tracking database using prescribed
  • Support in preparing PSM plans and undertake reviews as and %then needed by the
  • Support in storing HIV commodities and related supplies according to proper storage guidelines and maintain quality, safety, and security of stock.
  • Support Logistics Task Force Meeting on regular basis as per the need and plan and update the
  • Assist to review procurement plan and implementation schedule.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Master’s aeriee with at least two years of experience in procurement and supply chain management of health care commodities.
  • Familiar with health products inventory management information system
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient data analysis and presentation skills and have the ability to resolve supply chain challenges.
  1. Consultant – HIV viral load testing and reporting at National Public Health Laboratory

Key Responsibilities:

The consultant will be supporting National Public Health Laboratory with routine NW tftting, ;ire’ load testing, data recording, reporting, and quality management-related activities.


M.Sc. Clinical Medical Microbiology registered in Nepal Health Professional Council with a minimum of one year of experience in molecular testing and experience in working in HIV-related activities will be prioritized.
