International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal.

INF Nepal Green Pasture Hospital (GPH), Pokhara, serving peoples with specialized treatment and rehabilitation services in leprosy, dermatology, spinal cord injuries & other neglected trauma, ear car, palliative care etc. is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions and values.

1. Position: Medical Lab Technologist

Required Number: 1

Location: GPH, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job: 

To manage Laboratory department to provide high quality laboratory services through accurate testing procedures, correct analysis, and reliable reports which enable the medical team to manage patient’s conditions properly.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, with registration at Nepal Professional Health Council (NPHC).
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of  clinical work experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate clinical sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Have skills to use automated and technical equipment.
• Good computer knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Email & Internet.
• Experience in using hospital software/systems will be an advantage.
• Prefer experience in budget planning and management.
• Uses initiative and is able to work under limited supervision.
• Good eyesight to differentiate between colours and fine structural differences of microscopic specimens.
• Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.

2. Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Required Number: 2

Location: GPH, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The post holder works as a member of the Ear Services team specifically located in the Audiology and Speech Therapy department. The role provides for the assessment and therapy of speech and language disorders in children and adults. Including speech, hearing, balance and swallowing and communication rehabilitation. Provide assistance to audiology services when required. Input to the nursing team to include specific training related to a communication disorder. Also need to take part in and develop pieces of training in specialty areas.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in speech and language therapy/ audiology, with registration at the Nepal Professional Health Council (NPHC), with minimum one year of work experience, however freshers also can apply
• Practical experience in audiology and speech therapy will be an advantage
• Good team player
• Good computer knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Email & Internet.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and self-motivated.
• Uses initiative and is able to work under limited supervision.
• Good written and spoken communication, networking and interpersonal skills in English.
• An advantage for those who are ready to work with and promote care for low-income clients.
• Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.
