Job Description

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Training Manager  to join our HR team.

Job Summary:
A Training Manager assesses the training needs, implements and facilitates a wide variety of training programs, and ensures  trainees’ engagement with learning sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze software requirements
  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, skills gap analysis, and consultation with managers and management
  • Develop technical training courses that address specific business needs
  • Ensure that all new hires undergo orientating / onboarding / technical training
  • Coordinate product-related trainings, including the presentation of new features
  • Develop training manuals that target tangible results
  • Schedule in-house learning sessions using e-learning platforms
  • Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training
  • Liaise with industry experts and organize workshops and classroom-style trainings
  • Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions to improve the learning process
  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Training Manager/ Technical Trainer or similar role is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms using simple language
  • Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational and time management skills
