Position Title: Research Specialist (national position)
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal, with travel to districts

The Research Specialist will provide technical guidance and oversight to Hamro Samman’s research projects implemented by research grantees, consultants, CSOs and international partners to provide evidences and inform policy around counter trafficking in persons (CTIP) efforts in Nepal. The Research Specialist will provide technical guidance to design, implement, reporting and dissemination of national and international research studies to contribute to evidence-based policy advocacy and global learning.
Position Overview:
The Research Specialist will have a deep experience and understanding of guiding and managing of research projects and producing excellent research reports, preferably in human trafficking and migration. The Research Specialist will have an enthusiasm for generating evidence and sharing learnings from the research studies of Hamro Samman to inform and influence key decision makers to achieve meaningful and sustainable impact that reduces human trafficking.
