Job Description

Type: Full-time
Location: Kathmandu with frequent travel to the field
Salary: Negotiable

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Draft proposals to be sent to prospective clients
  • Assist/Take lead in monitoring and evaluating the projects being implemented by FDM
  • Plan/Finalize or assist in the planning/finalizing of evaluation approach for projects
  • Visit the field to undertake Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
  • Draft evaluation reports with support from Team Leader and Sectoral Experts
  • Ensure quality of the projects led under the supervision of the Team Leader

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Masters in Social Work/ Rural Development/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ Gender Studies/ Public Policy
  • A minimum of two years of experience having worked in research or M&E projects
  • Ability to design sampling approach, analyze and interpret statistical data as well as draft reports
  • Good command over analytical software’s including SPSS/STATA/Excel and NVivo
