Ipas Nepal’s program intervention prioritize intersectional partnerships that integrates sustainable abortion ecosystem into the broader gender equality and social justice, including gender based violence prevention and response. Ipas Nepal is implementing partner for UNFPA Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response Project in Nepal, Phase II. For this project we are seeking to hire qualified and committed candidate for the position advertised.
Position: Province Coordinator – Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response (GBV-PR)
Number of positions: 2
Type: Annual contract with a possibility for the project duration from July 2021 to June 2024.
Location: Sudurpashchim Province & Province 1
The Province Coordinator – Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response (GBV-PR) positions are designated field level positions. One position will be assigned to Sudurpaschim Province covering Kailali, Achham, Bajhang, Bajura, and Baitadi districts, and the next will be assigned to Province 1 covering Morang, Udayapur and Okhaldhunga districts.
The overall job responsibilities of this position is to ensure the effective implementation of the GBV- PR Phase II project that aims reduction of all forms of gender-based violence and discrimination against women and girls in two provinces in Nepal. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Senior GBV PR Advisor.
