Job Description

The role of the Project Manager (IT)  is to work with the Product team and Software Developers to set, prioritize, and evaluate the work generated by a Scrum team in order to ensure high quality features and functionality in our products, aligned with the goals of the Home Loan Experts.


  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Project Manager (IT).
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
  • Assist in defining product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, elaboration of the user stories and take product decisions.
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Lead the planning of product releases. Plan and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Report on the progress, timeline.

Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm including a 1-hour lunch break.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or related industry experience.
  • Working experience as Project Manager (IT) 2 years or Project Management 2  years.
  • Working with a technology startup.
  • Project management.
  • Business Analyst experience.
  • Agile team management.
  • Quality Assurance experience.


  • Well organised.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and  principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to articulate ideas verbally and visually.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work with  minimum supervision.
  • Great attitude.
  • Driven / Strong desire to learn.
  • Results /Solution focused and a Team player.
  • Scrum master certification.
  • Prince2 certification .
  • Working knowledge of AWS Solutions.
  • Knowledge of UML, activity diagrams, process flow diagrams, SWOT analysis, Business value and ROI.
