Job Description

DEC NEPAL Banke is a non-Governmental, non-profit making; non -political Community based organization running by and for the Persons with Disabilities is implementing a project. This project aims to improve the economic status of young people with disabilities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Banke District through entrepreneurship. The Project Coordinator- Livelihood will be responsible for the overall management and successful implementation of anticipated Standard Charter-Futuremaker Project in line with the DECN organizational policies and strategy.  The positions is responsible to coordinating and oversee the project implementation, quality assurance, capacity building of the OPD, project team and local stakeholders, donor reporting, budget management, communication, and monitoring the project. S/he will act as a focal person for the communication and project implementation with donor, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Program Manager & Executive Director.

Required Qualification & Experience

S.N. Post Qualification Experience and responsibilities
1. Project Coordinator (livelihood) – 1 Minimum qualification: Bachelor degree, Priority to Master degree  and working experience in Livelihood sector Minimum 3 years working experience on Disability, Inclusive education, livelihood, Project Planning process, Budget planning, management, Project monitoring, Report writing and able to establish coordination with funding partners, government and non-government stakeholders. Candidate must have good knowledge of writing and speaking English and computer skill for office management.
