Job Description

The Programs Director is a leadership position that is responsible for guiding and supporting the NGO Program team. Working closely with the INGO Country Representative, this person will be captaining the ship as we work to elevate and professionalize the standard of programs across BlinkNow and Kopila Valley NGO.

The Programs Director will be responsible for strengthening the structures which will create BlinkNow’s legacy as a strong, sustainable organization providing world-class educational programs for the future leaders of Nepal. This will also include overseeing the various program areas on the ground in Nepal, and ensuring each program head is supported, motivated, and meeting their goals.

The Programs Director will also be involved in implementing the organization’s ten-year strategic plan and overseeing our education programs on our flagship sustainable campus.

The Main Responsibilities are:

  1. Lead Program Design in coordination with the Country Representative.
  2. Ensure that the program delivery is done with the highest quality standards.
  3. Provide team oversight and other support related to program administration.

Required Qualification & Experience

  1. You are self-motivated, organized, and approachable, and enjoy creating systems, keeping records, and increasing efficiency in the organization.
  2. You are detail-oriented, conscientious, and have a strong work ethic.
  3. You are positive, patient, and a clear communicator who is comfortable working with both Kopila Valley staff in Nepal and the BlinkNow staff in the United States
  4. You require little supervision and are flexible.
