The Program Officer –Inclusive Education will contribute to the development of UDL and new EdTech approaches to improve the learning outcomes for students with disabilities. S/he will play a critical role in developing teacher training and mentoring strategies and working with government counterparts to rollout training and mentor teachers. S/he will need to establish strong professional relationships with the Education Units of local Government and District /Provincial/ Central level Government as well as with the project team.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Development, or other relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in inclusive education. Experience providing teacher training and working with government counterparts essential. Interest in provision of education for children with disabilities and use of EdTech and strong skills in the use of technology. Prior experience in early grade reading programs, as well as developing educational curricula and training will be an advantage.
