Job Description

The Private Sector (PS) Specialist is responsible for leading and coordinating the Private Sector engagement components of the program and assisting in assessment, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and dissemination of the overall program.

This position will be recruited by PSI/Nepal, seconded into the MPHD project office hosted by FHI360 and  reporting to the MPHD Technical Advisor. This position is subject to funding availability.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing and/or Business Development with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing service outlets, in health or fast moving consumer goods. Or other relevant subject and 7 years’ minimum work experience.
  • Knowledge/experience engaging with private sector health providers (FP/SRH preferred) and public private partnerships.
  • Strong public relation & negotiation skills, customer service orientation and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively across teams and organizations, with a verifiable track record of coordination within a consortium.
  • Proven capacity and desire to travel at least 60% of the time throughout Nepal.
  • Should be a strong advocate, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both Nepali and English.
