Personal Assistant

Applicable for Nepali Nationals only

Level: E1(Casual)

Duration: Fixed term contract until March 31, 2023

Location: Kathmandu

The Role

To provide personal assistant support to the Acting Country Director; and under the direction of ACD to manage and develop delegated administrative functions in order to ensure effective operation of ACD’s Office.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with substantial experience (at least two years) of providing personal assistant support in a similar role.
  • To support ACD in day-to-day administrative work and provide personal assistance to ACD as and when needed
  • High level of tact and diplomacy and the ability to use appropriate styles and methods of communication to ensure a professional yet personal customer service.
  • Judgement and initiative to anticipate the ACD’s standard responses and preferred courses of action and to identify when the ACD or another member of ACD’s team should deal with an issue directly or guide the response.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Proven administrative experience and excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to develop, improve and maintain administrative systems.
  • Proven knowledge of computerized systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a dispersed, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team
  • Self-management including ability to priorities own workload and work independently and commitment to meet deadlines
