Job Description

World Vision is a child-focused relief, development, and advocacy organization that has contributed to the transformation in the lives of millions of children around the world in vulnerable situations. We are driven by Christian values to serve children and families regardless of their religion, age, gender, ethnicity, class, and caste.We are looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions:

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field — social science, development studies, adult education.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in development work in Nepal and Previous work in developing partnering approaches.
  • Should have strong research skills and relevant research experience of at least two years.
  • Experience in leading action learning is preferred.
  • Must be a strong team player — must be able to form and lead a number of cross-functional working groups.
  • Should have strong interpersonal skills — ability to draw commitment from other parts of the organization and good understanding of different approaches to partnering, and the requirements these involved.
  • Must be fluent in Nepali with good written and spoken English and have knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
