Job Description

Possible, a non-governmental organization registered in Nepal, is seeking a Operations Trainee to provide support to various functions of Possible while giving him/her/them an opportunity to gain skills and provide with real- life work culture and experience to build up their career path.

Reports to: Finance and Operations Officer

Location: Kathmandu

Required Qualification & Experience


The Operations Trainee will be chiefly responsible for the following areas of work:

  1. Support day to day activities across various functions
  2. Carry out tasks set out as directed and determined by the Finance and Operations Officer.
  3. Support the team with general office duties including, but not limited to, receiving and directing visitors, data entry, filing and coordination.
  4. Assist the team members on general office management and provide admin support as and when required.

  1. Assist up-to-date documentation within organization
  2. Assist in managing the flow of paperwork.
  3. Organize and archive the documents.
  4. Label, sort and categorize documents for ease of use.
  5. Retrieve documents upon request.
  6. Work with various functions to ensure consistency of documentation practice across the organization.
  7. Assist with both internal and external audits.
  8. Ensure an integrity of the documentation
  9. Remove documents that are obsolete.

  1. Provide support in Logistic coordination and communication
  2. Assist and facilitate team in logistic and communication as required.
  3. Conduct the running tasks like collecting signatures from the Board on meeting minutes and other documents; dropping documents/reports to DOHS, MOHP, SWC, NHRC as relevant
  4. Support the logistics of the board meeting
  5. Provide logistics assistance to the research projects and People and Culture function, for example, bulk printing of confidential documents, scanning and photocopying
  6. Support in admin related task and assistance in financial work including bank visit, IRD visit etc.

The above list of responsibilities is not comprehensive and may be changed by the Operations Trainee and his/his/their Supervisor.

         Strong commitment and motivation to learn and develop; and able to adapt to flexible working environment.

         Preference will be given to candidates with a two-wheeler (and its driving license)
