Job Description

Job title : Office Runner
Location : Anandaban Hospital
Job Family : Administration
Reports To : Hospital Administrator
Working hours:  8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Overall purpose of Job

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Key tasks and responsibilities 

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management.
  • Deal with all the custom exemption related works related works related to government office regarding imported goods for the hospital service.
  • Coordinate the assigned job related to SWC, government office, NGO office, partner organization and other stakeholders.
  • Deal with all the official registration work of hospital vehicles/renewal/tax clearance/insurance as assigned by the hospital authorities.
  • Involve in account department like; bank deposit, withdrawn, bank statement acquires and other.
  • Collect detail, information and quotation from different vendors and suppliers.
  • Bills drop and payment collection.
  • Able to involve various utilities payment & collection activities. Like; electricity, water, telephone etc
  • Report immediately if any incident take place.
  • Report to the authorities about the assigned task of the day and its progress.
  • Maintain log book of the vehicle being used.
  • Dealing with queries or requests from the visitors and employees.
  • Coordinating the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
  • Assisting other administrative staff in wide range of office duties.
  • Collecting and distributing couriers or parcels among employees and opening and sorting emails.
  • Cooperating with office staff to maintain proper interaction and a friendly environment within the office.
  • Make sure the office premise is clean. Maintain office filing and storage systems
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Assist with event planning and implementation.
  • Prepare documents, process mail and answer telephone.
  • Deliver and collect stock in various department.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed.
  • Any other job assigned by the line manager.

Any special working conditions

  • Valid Driving license of 2 Wheeler , 4 Wheeler Preferred.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • +2 in Management of any field with 1 years of Working experience.
  • Experience in clerical activities is an added advantage
  • Should be honest, respectful, and trustworthy.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
