Job Description

Progress Inc. is a private company which specializes in research, monitoring and evaluations, assessments, capacity building and other data management for public, private and non-profit organizations in the social development sector. The organization works in various sectors including gender, education, governance, livelihood, DRR, WASH, and more.

We are looking for a mature and problem solving office assistant to support in office activities such as running errands for the company and its associations, procuring goods and supplies, assisting the admin and finance personnel and other team as required, overview repair and maintenance required for the organization.

Office Assistant / Peon

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5 PM (Sunday to Friday)

Job Description

  • Running errands for the organization; banks, clients office, pick and drop goods and supplies (needs to have valid 2 wheeler license to be able to ride office scooter for errands)
  • Support other team members and work closely with Admin and Finance Personnel to achieve required goals
  • Be able to book tickets, hotels and coordinate plans for field work
  • Find vendors for goods and supplies; collect quotations
  • Maintain logbooks, attendance record, and other documentation on paper and digitally
  • Schedule appointments and meetings and keep track
  • Repair and maintenance management by overseeing requirements in the office
  • Management of procurement and vendor relationship for organization and its associate organizations
  • Management of printing and other resources for field work
  • Reports to Manager
  • Other as assigned

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum +2 with 10 years or more experience with similar role or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or more experience. FRESHERS and anyone with lesser experience than our requirement will not be considered.
  • Good computer skills such as internet, email, word and excel is a MUST.
  • Good documentation and organizing skills

  • Passionate to work as per requirement of the organization
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of organizational information
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
