Required Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s degree in journalism, education, public health, or in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and implementing documentation and
    outreach activities.
  •  Expert understanding and practice of documentation and media management.
  •  Experience developing/writing blogs, social media content creation and
  •  Understanding of KM practices and their applications.
  •  Strong communication and writing skills.
  •  Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  •  USAID project documentation and outreach experience preferred.
  •  Must have photography, videography skills.
  •  A proven record of accomplishment of working in a fast-paced dynamic
  •  Previous experience working in Madhesh Province would be a strength.
  •  Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to ensure adherence to applicable donor rules and regulations and local in- country laws.
  • Previous experience working with vendors and consultants for producing quality deliverables.
  • Must be able to travel to field program sites as necessary.

Language Skills

  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Nepali.
  •  Ability to speak a local language of Madhesh Province is highly preferred.
  •  Ability to effectively present information and interact with government officials,
    funding organization, public groups, community members and youth.

Computer Skills

  • MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Zoom, Google docs, OneDrive,
    Adobe Acrobat, basic layout and design skills, and other standard
