Green Star Nepal is a non-profit, non-partisan political and non-governmental organization. For the past 15 years, the organization has been working for women’s reproductive health, child health, women’s empowerment, education and overall development through health promotion methods.

With the aim of mobilizing local resources, empowering women of reproductive age, and coordinating with health organizations to increase reproductive health services and demand for equitable reproductive health, Green Tara Nepal aims to improve the perceptions and social values of each individual and community. Applications are invited from qualified candidates as qualified local staff is required for the three-year project operation.

Position: Health Promoter

Educational Qualification: Staff Nurse / ANM / CMA Urtin – Women only

Number Required: 3 (Three)

Scope of work: Khaptad Chhededaha village municipality (Bajura district, Far Western Province) will have to work in the assigned ward or work area. The work area to be edited and the workload will be divided accordingly.

To work for the promotion of reproductive health in coordination with the Health Institutions and Health Institutions Operation and Management Committee of the target wards.
Formation / reorganization and mobilization of health mother group in the targeted wards, meeting of adolescent group, women health volunteers and conducting monthly hygiene, sexual and reproductive health related activities.
To work for special day and sexual / reproductive and menstrual rights in coordination with health organization and health mother group.
To coordinate and cooperate with Dhami / Jhakri, Purohit, mother-in-law, male group and family decision makers.
Regular recording and reporting.

Type of appointment: Contract (for project period)

Contract period: The contract period will be till 31st December 2022. The contract period may be extended on the basis of performance appraisal.

Salary and facilities: As per the rules of the organization.

Required Qualification & Experience

Under 18 years of age and under 45 years of age.
