  • Manage the marketing team across brand strategy, creative, content, media (owned, earned, paid), analytics, campaign management to develop and execute sales, branding and positioning initiatives across all channels:

        Online: PR, Social Media/Performance marketing, GDN incl. Youtube, KOL, digital partnerships,
        Offline: TV, OOH, print, radio, event sponsorship, partnerships

  • Work cross-functionally with commercial, product and operations teams to help devise, plan and implement successful and relevant marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Optimize these campaigns through thoughtful testing, ultimately aiming to maximize acquisitions while considering LTV/CAC
  • Work collaboratively with Group marketing functions, analytics, and campaign management teams
  • Strengthen Daraz brand equity and positioning by identifying business development efforts and corporate partnership opportunities
  • Full ownership of Marketing P&L and budget
  • Report directly to country managing director and regional marketing heads
  • Grow a dynamic team, building on their expertise and knowledge, and training the next generation of leaders
  • Become an integral part of senior management within the company

Required Qualification & Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Marketing with a digital media agency or leading marketing role (preferably in technology), and at least 5 years working experience.
  • Experience leading multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, including digital//performance marketing and traditional offline campaigns, Public Relations, and Business Development
  • Have a blend of creativity, brand vision, analytical expertise, out-of-the-box thinking, and the confidence to lead a highly talented, collaborative team
  • An understanding of PMO processes and communication, and an ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to implement solutions and execute campaigns
  • A results-driven leader and creative problem solver, who takes full ownership of their responsibilities
  • Strong contacts with marketing agencies and media houses in Kathmandu
