Job Description

  • Build a sustainable governance structure for the DMall channel and ensure implementation and compliance across all ventures
  • Collaborate with the Regional Head to develop and propose overarching mechanisms for control, process flows and best practice implementation
  • Develop KPI reporting guidelines and tracking mechanisms to improve visibility on DMall brand management process and recommend improvements on the same. This includes developing and driving performance metrics (NPS) to measure the success and progression of DMall against business plan
  • Align relevant stakeholders and conduct periodic update meetings to share progress and highlight bottlenecks. Escalate and drive closure where needed
  • Work with the Brand Acquisition role to identify brands with the correct ‘fit’ and potential for growth in the DMall portfolio
  • Establish DMall as a trusted and well-known brand with our customers; develop good external relationships with brands and create a story around Daraz Mall as growth driver for brands in South Asia
  • Work in close collaboration with the Regional Head on optimization plans and provide expertise on strategic growth plans for partners
  • Leverage the country-level exposure of local DMall teams to understand market-specific dynamics and incorporate local context to growth plans on the venture level
  • Work in collaboration with the Brands to build, nurture and growth them in DarazMall
  • Develop relevant communication material for Brands to bring in the best Campaign Deals

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors/MBA preferred, from reputable Business School
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g. e-Commerce functions, brands, consulting)
  • Ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex global businesses
  • Strong knowledge in brand management
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Highly adaptable to quickly changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive and manage cross-functional teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Results-oriented, able to get things done
