Job Description

Designation: Finance Officer
Reports to: Deputy Finance Manager
Shift: (09:00 to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview: 

The Finance Officer will be responsible for the financial health of the company by managing the financial procedures. Overall, he/she needs to be responsible for all financial functions of the company, including accounting, payments and banking, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. To succeed in this role, he/she needs to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems. In addition to being an excellent communicator, FO will also need outstanding analytical and time management abilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Payroll management including SSF and CIT compliance
  • Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Documentation of financial transactions by entering account information
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements
  • Daily accounting of transactions
  • Monitoring petty cash payments
  • Monitoring billing to clients
  • VAT, TDS payment, and return filing of the group including Company registrar returns and documents
  • Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
  • Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Update financial records with recent transactions and changes
  • Perform finance analysis, reporting, and management tasks
  • Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded
  • Ensure data integrity in all financial reporting
  • Guiding finance assistant staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Supporting the executives with projects and tasks when required
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years’ experience and a Master’s Degree with 2 years in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field. Semi Qualified CA/ACCA are encouraged to apply.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
