Family Planning (FP) Advisor:
The Family Planning (FP) Advisor will primarily lead all FP related activities for Suaahara II program on behalf of FHI 360. The person will ensure timely communication and arrangements with technical experts as required and ensure all FP-related activities are carried out maintaining a high technical quality. The Advisor will also liaise with other consortium partners including the Helen Keller International (Prime) in a timely and appropriate manner and maintain open and timely communication with other stakeholders to ensure proper alignment of FHI 360’s activities with the overall Suaahara II activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Be aware on the national and international policies and strategies, guidelines on FP/HTSP and lead the project envisaged FP activities.
Provide technical support in the development and revision of guidelines, training curriculum and standard operating procedures to facilitate FP/HTSP services delivery and referrals under Suaahara II program
Provide technical guidance to carry out any assessments related to integrated interventions including FP/HTSP and help to develop suitable job aids and social and behavior change communication materials.
Design and support the implementation of bold FP initiatives including innovating ways of delivery FP/HTSP programming as envisaged by the project.
