Job Description

Contract Period: Initially one year with the possibility of extension
Reports to: Executive Director, Project Team Leader, and Assigned Line Manager

The position holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead a team of Agriculture Technicians/officers and Social Mobilizers in carrying out day-to-day activities in the project areas.
  • Provide technical backstopping to the beneficiary groups.
  • Maintain coordination with local units and relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and training as per the planned activity guideline.
  • Oversee overall site activities.
  • Ensure a healthy work environment for the project team.
  • Preparation and Submission of reports as and when required.
  • Management of activity budget allocated for the project year.
  • Management of Human resources and maintenance of HR records of the respective field.
  • Maintenance and Documentation of record books and other project files in the field.
  • Other duties as required by the supervisor.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • MSc. Agriculture with no less than two years of demonstrable work experience in a similar position or BSc. Agriculture from a recognized university with at least four years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Applicants must possess a valid Two-Wheeler driving license.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to remote areas.
  • Applicants must be good team player.
