Job Description

International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal.

INF Nepal Green Pasture Hospital (GPH), Pokhara, serving peoples with specialized treatment and rehabilitation services in leprosy, dermatology, spinal cord injuries & other neglected trauma, ear car, palliative care etc. is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions and values.

1. Position: Community Educator

Required Number: 1

Location: GPH, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job: 

To assist the training officer in collaboratively developing and delivering trainings to health workers, female community health volunteers, community groups, and schools, and to ensure their smooth running across Sunita Project sites.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) or Community Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant health qualification, with one year of clinical work experience. Relevant training experience in relative field will be an advantage.
  • Work experience in clinical, NGO or INGO settings, palliative care knowledge/ experience will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, considerate and respectful of others.
  • Demonstrate understanding of community healthcare.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Nepali.
  • Basic competency in English.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft programs.
  • Able and willing to travel.
  • Commitment to teamwork.
  • In agreement with the vision, mission and values of INF.
