In Nepal, CECI supports the economic empowerment of women and young women who are marginalized because of their identity (gender, caste, geography or sexual orientation). CECI volunteers work in collaboration with civil society organizations, small and medium sized businesses and municipal governments to develop the leadership of vulnerable populations so that they can access rewarding income-generating activities that are resilient to climate change. Volunteers support the strengthening of partners’ knowledge and skills, the optimization of their services, as well as their efforts to raise awareness of economic and environmental right,

Blue Diamond Society (BDS), established in 2001, is a leading non-governmental organization in Nepal which advocates for change in the laws against the LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer) community. Blue Diamond Society (BDS) has been working in seven provinces of Nepal with local communities and on a national level including 40 CBOs across the country.
University Degree in communication or related fields.
The volunteer will be based at the Partner Blue Diamond Society Office Located at Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
