Job Description

Progressio Bistro is the food and beverage wing of Progress Inc., and is small restaurant located in Boudha, Kathmandu. The Admin Associate job entails the ability for management of staff, record keeping of finances and bills, providing digital content and marketing on various social media (i.e. Facebook and Instagram) through creation of posts and other marketing strategies. In addition to this, the candidate is also required to run errands and perform admin duties for the primary organization.

The candidate will majorly work from the office (85%), but will be assigned to the restaurant as required (15%). We require a mature hotel management graduate with skills in using excel and social media postings with good English writing and computer knowledge.

(Initially 3 months’ probation, extended after successful performance review)

Salary Range: Gross NPR 18,000 – 21,000 per month

NOTE: Please read all requirement prior to applying. No prior hospitality industry experience is not qualified

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle and post on social media, responsible for guest interactions of restaurant, and prepare marketing strategies (15%),
  • Liaison or reporting person between staff and management, including setting up external human resource network in case of turnover (25%),
  • Conducting administrative duties such as bank or client errand running, drop and pick up documents, ensuring all activities is as per requirement, tracking and recording finances and vendor management, planning and strategies for bettering the restaurant (50%), and
  • Other support and role as assigned by other team members in our company (10%)

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors pass or Master’s (Preferred) in hotel management or other relevant degrees
  • Good writing in English
  • Knowledge of restaurant management, marketing strategies, and social media
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and multi-tasking skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours as per requirement
  • Requires to have a 2 wheeler license
  • Self-motivated, passionate, and very strict with organization policies and mandates
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding the importance and value of customers / clients
  • Prior experience in restaurant/hotel with social media handling desired
  • Age – above 27 preferred
