FAIRMED is a SWISS development organization dedicated to fulfill its motto of “Health for the Poorest”. It is playing important role in providing health care access to the marginalized communities and individuals who are prone to diseases, disability and poverty. The core focus of FAIRMED's work in Nepal is Neglected Tropical Diseases(NTD’s), maternal and neo-natal health with WASH and Disability as a cross cutting themes. It applies the approach of ensuring basic health care for people with disabilities and people from marginalized communities. Currently, it is active in Gandaki and Lumbini Province . FAIRMED operates with a strong collaboration with local, provincial and federal government and contributes for the health system strengthening.
